As a Production Coordinator working in our Gummy Dept. Your duties will include in maintaining compliance efficiency and traceability within the gummy manufacturing process. This position is responsible for reviewing organizing and maintaining all production-related documentation to ensure accuracy completeness and adherence to internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Batch Record Review & Accuracy

  • Review all in-process and completed Batch Production Records (BPRs) for accuracy completeness and compliance with cGMP and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Ensure all required supporting documents (e.g. cleaning logs setup records equipment logs) are included signed and dated appropriately.

Documentation Compliance & Maintenance

  • Maintain up-to-date batch records equipment logbooks and cleaning records in accordance with company SOPs FDA regulations and state/local laws.
  • Track and maintain documentation filing systems both electronic and physical ensuring retrievability and security of records.

GDP Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor GDP errors across all shifts and departments generate monthly error reports and escalate trends or recurring issues to management.
  • Partner with team leads to provide feedback and corrective actions based on documentation error trends.

SOP Support & Development

  • Assist in the drafting editing and periodic review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as well as One Point Lessons (OPL) under the guidance of the Production Manager and Quality Assurance (QA).
  • Ensure the latest SOP revisions are distributed and accessible to production personnel.
  • Coordination with Quality Operations (QO) as well Documentation control
  • Request and track production labels and controlled documents from the Quality Operations department.
  • Submit required samples forms and documentation to QO for review testing or archival as needed.

Production Support

  • Support production scheduling by ensuring documentation requirements are aligned with daily and weekly plans.
  • Provide real-time document support during batch execution including issuing forms and updating logs as needed.

Administrative Duties

  • Independently manage assigned documentation projects with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure all daily weekly and monthly documentation tasks are completed on time and meet departmental quality standards.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Production team including data entry scanning document formatting and audit preparation. Complies with all Company policies and procedures including safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintains a safe work environment and operates in a safe manner.
  • Perform other job duties related to the job as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelors degree or related field preferred.
  • Two to four (24) years of experience in a document control or production support role preferably in a cGMP-regulated food nutraceutical or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment:

  • May involve exposure to allergens such as Soy Wheat Fish Shellfish Milk Egg Tree Nuts and Sesame.
  • Lifting limitations for this position: 25-30 lbs. May have to manipulate heavier containers.
  • Requires incumbent to sit and operate computer for extended periods of time during course of workday and the ability to proficiently use the computer keyboard for typing.
  • Noise levels for most work environments can range from low to moderate. Some work areas require hearing protection for an 8-hour workday.What Best Formulations can offer you:

This position is currently classified as on-site.

Base Salary Range: $18.00 22.00 per hour based on candidate professional experience level. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance 401(k) Holidays Vacation Tuition Reimbursement Program.

The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including but not limited to location skills education and experience.
