Job Description

Position: Program Manager
Status: Full Time Exempt
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Job Summary:
The Program Manager of Integrated Care Services is responsible for providing operational oversight clinical expertise fiscal accountability and direct supervision of staff across multiple integrated care programs. This role ensures high-quality service delivery effective budget and grant management regulatory compliance and collaboration with community partners. The Program Manager will lead programs that serve children youth and families while supporting and developing a multidisciplinary team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide operational oversight clinical expertise and program support to integrated care services.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to adults and childrens services staff including documentation review and quality assurance.
  • Directly supervise masters level therapists case managers parent support partners youth peer support specialists and infant mental health specialists.
  • Oversee specialized programs including the Home-Based Program ICCW Infant Mental Health Program and related childrens services.
  • Ensure staff receive required training based on contractual obligations and COA standards.
  • Maintain compliance with annual training requirements.
  • Build and sustain relationships with partnering agencies such as schools courts MDHHS and other community organizations.
  • Represent the organization and participate in local regional and state committees or workgroups as needed.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support program growth ensure fidelity to evidence-based models and achieve positive client outcomes.
  • Develop manage and monitor program budgets in coordination with leadership to ensure fiscal accountability and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Track expenditures analyze budget variances and make recommendations to ensure programs operate within approved financial parameters.
  • Assist in forecasting financial reporting and planning to support sustainability and growth of integrated care services.
  • Oversee grant management activities including program reporting compliance monitoring and timely submission of required documentation to funding sources.
  • Work with leadership to align program goals with grant objectives and ensure responsible stewardship of funds.
  • Completes all other assignments or duties as designated.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in psychology social work counseling or related field.
  • Five (5) years post graduate masters degree with demonstrated administrative and supervisory experience.
  • Valid professional licensure in Michigan Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) (Preferred).
  • Familiarity with Michigan Medicaid/Medicare and commercial insurance law and COA standards.
  • Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and build effective relationships with clients and community partners.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in the field.
Licenses Registrations & Additional Experience
  • Licensure in relevant state (LMSW LPC LCSW LMFT Psychologist etc.)
  • Experience with program evaluation and development.
  • Proficiency in additional languages or experience working with diverse populations.
  • Valid Michigan Drivers License and Insurance
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in behavioral health integrated care or related human services including supervisory budget and grant management experience.
  • Strong understanding of childrens behavioral health and family support programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise multidisciplinary staff and provide clinical oversight.
  • Proven experience in budget development monitoring and financial/grant reporting.
  • Excellent organizational communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs and priorities simultaneously.
Working Conditions
  • Office-based with occasional travel to off-site locations including community partners or satellite locations.
  • Job travel utilizing personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement
  • Fast paced environment working with consumer with variety of behaviors including aggression.
