Job Summary

Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician

Location: Loveland CO 80538

Duration: 1 year (options for 26 weeks or full-time)

Shift Schedule: Mon Fri: 8 hrs/day between 7 AM 6 PM (40 hrs/week).

Qualification

Education: High school education or equivalency

Certifications: CRCST / CBSPD (BLS - Good to have)

Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in decontamination sterilization and distribution of medical supplies and instruments

Responsibilities

Decontaminate inspect and assemble surgical instruments from OR dental endoscopy and specialty clinics per IFU and SOPs.
Perform sterilization and high-level disinfection (HLD) using steam autoclaves V-Pro Mediators and other sterilization methods.
Conduct post-sterilization quality checks to ensure package integrity sterility validation and proper labeling.
Manage medical billing third-party liability and referral management ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulations.
Support tumor registry and medical evaluation board processes maintaining records and assisting in case tracking.
Store and distribute sterile instruments prepare OR case carts and fulfill emergency supply requests.
Provide nursing support and assist with medical procedures ensuring patient safety and effective care coordination.
Ensure compliance with infection control standards (HSPA AAMI CDC VA) and follow aseptic techniques.
