Job Summary

Title: Lead Data Engineer
Location: Santa Monica CA USA - onsite
Type: Contract
Note: Candidate must have experience in Cell and Gene Therapy expertise.
JD:

Onsite role where resource will be responsible for leading the design development and implementation of scalable data pipelines and architectural solutions. He /She serve as both a technical expert and a mentor guiding a team of data engineers while actively contributing to hands-on coding architecture design and system optimization. He / She will ensure the delivery of high-quality data solutions that meet business needs and align with our strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Hands-On Development: Write clean well-documented and performant code in languages like Python or Scala for data ingestion transformation and processing.

Data Architecture & Design: Design build and maintain robust scalable and efficient data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows to support data analytics business intelligence and machine learning initiatives.

Engage with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements business goals and the challenges they face.

Translate business needs into clear actionable technical specifications and data solutions.

Quality & Governance: Implement and enforce data governance quality and security standards across all data assets

Skills set

Strong SQL Python Cloud platforms I.e Snowflake AWS S3 etc) GxP Process

Domain: Life Sciences

Soft Skills: Excellent Communication
