What Youll Be Doing
Youll contribute to CIBCs Data & Analytics Technology Infrastructure & Innovation group by successfully delivering simple to complex data related projects to assist our internal LOB partners with their Strategic initiatives. The role covers several key areas essential for effective data management including consulting data transformation and cleansing building system-to-system data feeds and developing reports and dashboards to generate insights and metrics for executive reporting.

How Youll Succeed
AnalysisInterpret and/or analyze factual and conceptual information with the ability to interpret/adapt general procedures or approaches when formulating responses to problems/issues. Establish and acquire relevant fact-based informationand analytics to support key business strategies. Develop meaningful and relevant business insights by leveraging data from different sources and over different periods of time. Provide recommendations based on analyzing data.
Reporting- Convey factual and conceptual information on issues requiring detailed explanation and interpretation. Build and maintain Reporting & Analytics processes that answer and track business questions.
Data Consulting -Support business partners in the development of business requirements through consulting on the possible based on available data.
Business Requirements Ability to draft business requirements documents with a lens towards data design which will inform the end state solution.
Data ETL- Collaborate with business teams and other IT teams to cleanse and transform data that is required for downstream processes and reports.
People Management You have experience managing and mentoring people resolving complex business issues and serving as an escalation point for your team.
Who You Are
You can demonstrate work experience inSAS and Alteryx programming skills. Good understanding of Databricks and relationship databases and SQL. Solid understanding of Cloud based services preferably Azure. You have5 to 7 years of exp in data analytics process development people management.
You can demonstrate experience with reporting tools. Power BI and Power Automate (nice to have) Excel & Power Point at an advanced level to build tables charts pivots and variances to support analytical work efforts.

At CIBC we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $127000-$150000 based on experience qualifications and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business units incentive compensation plan which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
