Job Description

The Mortgage Software Product Specialist is a part of the Delivery Team within the Home Loan Division and reports to the VP Strategic Mortgage & Consumer Lending Division Operations Manager. This position will be responsible for supporting all technology solutions within the Home Loan Division including providing support to front-line users working with other Delivery Team members on defect resolution and system enhancements and performing testing and release management activities.

Essential Functions:

  • Builds and maintains a thorough understanding of the Dark Matter Empower platform and related ancillary applications
  • Provides end-user support by responding to help desk tickets and assisting users in utilizing the platform
  • Executes functional and integration tests during platform upgrades
  • Works with peers across the HLD to drive testing efficiencies
  • Troubleshoots system issues as they arise
  • Analyzes business requirements to design and develop optimal configuration solutions to increase efficiency reduce risk and/or improve the user experience
  • Participates in strategic initiatives alongside the Product Owner and Product Analyst as needed
  • Works with the business line to identify opportunities for system enhancements
  • Interfaces with vendor representatives to resolve issues and obtain information or documentation

Qualifications:

  • Strong detail orientation with a high level of organizational skills and an ability to multi-task
  • Strong attention to process improvement to ensure scale and efficiency
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative; ability to work well both independently and with others
  • Ability to collaborate with and work effectively with diverse groups of people managing conflict and negotiating for results when needed
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical people
  • Preferred experience working in the mortgage or financial services industry
  • Preferred experience working with the Dark Matter Empower platform

Compensation: $23.34 - $35.00 per hour

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position located in Spokane WA. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location experience and performance.
