Job Summary
Position Title: Phlebotomist Laboratory
Location: Sandwich MA
Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift: Monday Friday 5:45 AM 5:30 PM
Duration: 13-week assignment
Schedule: No weekends holidays or call
Pay Rate: $1050 $1200 weekly
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Phlebotomist Laboratoryfor an exciting Travel or Local job in Sandwich MA.
Key Responsibilities
Draw blood and obtain other specimens; transport them to the lab.
Instruct patients on proper specimen collection.
Notify the clinical lab of any order changes.
Maintain cleanliness and stock of supply areas and workstations.
Communicate effectively with patients staff and providers.
Uphold confidentiality and ensure safety standards are met.
Recommend improvements in efficiency and patient care.
Participate in professional development and follow hospital policies.
Qualifications
Certification in Phlebotomy required.
Ability to read write and follow written instructions.
Completion of Medical Terminology I or equivalent experience (6 months in a clinical setting).
Completion of at least 80 hours of basic phlebotomy training (classroom practical experience).
Previous clinical experience preferred.
