Schedule: MondayFriday 8.5-hour shifts between 5:45 AM 5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $21$31 per hour

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Phlebotomistfor an exciting job in Harwich MA.

Key Responsibilities

Collect blood and other laboratory specimens accurately and safely.
Ensure all specimens are properly labeled handled and transported to the laboratory.
Communicate any changes in patient orders to the Clinical Laboratory team.
Provide clear instructions to patients regarding specimen collection procedures.
Maintain and restock supply carts storage areas and workstations.
Recommend process improvements to support efficiency and quality.
Uphold patient confidentiality and maintain professional interactions with staff patients and visitors.
Keep work areas clean organized and compliant with safety standards.
Participate in ongoing professional development workshops and training.
Maintain knowledge of departmental and facility policies including safety and emergency procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Ability to read write and follow written instructions.
Completion of a Medical Terminology I course or equivalent
OR
At least 6 months of experience in a role requiring medical terminology (e.g. Nurse Assistant Unit Clerk ER Clerk Admitting Clerk Medical Records Clerk Laboratory Information Coordinator).
Successful completion of an 80-hour traineeship or a basic phlebotomy program with classroom and clinical experience.
Current Phlebotomy Certification required.
Proficiency with computers and electronic health record systems.
