Overview
Location:63140 Dickey Rd Bend OR 97701
Schedule: SundayTuesday or Wednesady-Friday Overnight Shift 9:30 PM 7:30 AM
Status:Full-Time
Pay:$23.25 $26.00/hour
Shift Differential:Additional $3.00$6.00/hour for short notice or night shift coverage
Structure:Three 10-hour shifts/week one Saturday/month
Flexibility:Optional extra shifts available
Embark Behavioral Health in Bend Oregon is hiring compassionate purpose-driven Direct Support Professionals to join our overnight care this essential role youll support preteens ages 1017 in a safe structured and trauma-informed environment helping them grow through experiential learning animal-assisted activities academic support and emotional skill-building.
Whether youre experienced in mental health residential care youth services or simply passionate about making a difference we welcome your unique perspective and dedication.
Responsibilities
- Ensure client safety and emotional well-being through active overnight supervision and timely documentation
- Maintain a calm supportive presence while monitoring overnight needs and routines
- Guide adolescents through evening transitions and coping strategies
- Respond empathetically to emotional or behavioral challenges using trauma-informed de-escalation techniques
- Support a clean welcoming environment through nightly cleaning and facility upkeep
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure continuity of care
- Assist with residential upkeep animal care and light administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum age: 21
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record
- Current First Aid & CPR certifications
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to connect with youth
