About the position
The loans desk requires someone with a technical background and passion for AV media technology to facilitate the loaning of audio camera (still and video) lighting and console based mixing equipment. Working within the Facilities and Technical Services team (FTS) this role directly supports teaching and research activities. This position provides a broad range of technical administrative and facilities support services to assist staff and students to achieve teaching learning and research outcomes.
Specifically this role is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Loans platform whichoperates within a network of other loans platforms and uses a custom software booking system (LaBSS) that allows remote user bookings and access.
This role uses LaBSS while managing loans transactions which includes:
