Responsibilities Well Help You Master
- Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and fulfilling their dreams by having a person-centered focus.
- Teach independent living and daily skills to the persons-served by identifying and meeting social environmental and health care needs such as daily grooming and personal care routines.
- Actively plans coordinates and participates with residents in social activities including frequent community outings.
- Instructs supports and participates in performing household tasks with persons served such as cleaning preparing meals food shopping etc.
The Ideal Candidate
- Earned High School Diploma or GED from an accredited educational institution.
- Able to communicate effectively with the individuals to whom services are provided
- Should have experience working with people with intellectual disabilities or with other types of special needs populations
- Someone who enjoys being an outdoors and is interested in cooking and baking.
- Should have an understanding of respect for individuals home and space and expectations of the Ardmore.
- Must be willing to work in both the community and home settings a good driving record is required.
- Be resourceful in researching community activities.
