You will

  • Process daily/weekly/monthly tasks including:
    • Looking after lease application charge setups (security deposit base rent other)
    • Depositing tenant cheques and entering them in the AR ledger
    • Entering adjustments and credits as documented by residential PM team
    • Entering EFT deposits from bank statements in the AR ledger
    • Preparing tenant chargebacks and reconciling against vendor invoices
    • Reconciling tenant account ledger
    • Processing unit transfers
    • Processing move-out accounting within 15 day requirement
    • Doing weekly bank runs for AP and AR teams
  • Prepare monthly rent rolls and recurring payment processing
  • Work with various property accountants and property managers/administrators for tenant related queries
  • Assist with audit requirements
  • Ad hoc projects as required

You have

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable
  • Basic Accounting knowledge
  • The ability to work in a team
  • The ability to efficiently handle high volume
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience using Yardi (preferred)
  • Property Management Accounts Receivable experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word

Salary Range:$50000 - $55000 per year estimated based on experience.
