Job Description:
Position Purpose summary:
The Kettle Campaign Coordinator helps ensure the smooth running of the Kettle Campaign to maximize donations through the coordination of the schedules of the Kettle volunteers. We are looking for a highly organized person with strong interpersonal skills who is willing to adhere to the mission and values of The Salvation Army and will represent The Salvation Army in a positive professional manner.
KEY Accountabilities:
- Working with a small team coordinating all aspects of the Christmas Kettle Campaign
- Advertises for volunteers and donors for the Kettle Campaign through community presence phone calls etc.
- Recruit train schedule and supports kettle workers and volunteers through Salesforce
- Work with a list of volunteers clubs churches and businesses to assist in filling volunteer positions
- Updates and distributes Kettle volunteer schedules
- Assists with Tip-Tap and training workers and volunteers
- Prepare detailed daily Kettle counter reports
- Assist in making presentations to groups organizations service clubs churches and businesses to assist in filling volunteer positions
- Supports other aspects of Christmas Programming if needed (i.e. food and toy program)
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Qualifications:
Education Qualifications and Certifications:
- Agreeable to a flexible non-routine schedule and willing to work hours including evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of and interest in the programs and services this campaign supports
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 lbs.
- Valid drivers license a clean drivers abstract and access to a personal vehicle for business purposes
- Must obtain a Criminal Record Check in accordance with Criminal Records Review Program

- Enthusiastic team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability and experience in public speaking
- Previous fundraising and supervisory experience and volunteer experience will be an asset
- High standards of integrity judgment and confidentiality
- Strong decision-making organizational skills and a strong team player
- General office skills and experience familiar in using various office equipment
- Proficiency in various computer programs; Microsoft WORD Excel spreadsheets database
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and cope with stressful situations
Compensation:
The target hiring range for this position is $17.85 to $21.66 with a maximum of $25.99.
Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions internal equity and candidate experience skills and qualifications relevant to the role.
