Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Facilities Technician is responsible for keeping all Rockline-RV facilities buildings and systems operating in a clean safe and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Perform maintenance on water systems electrical systems (low level 120VAC simple wiring) natural gas and compressed air systems HVAC fire suppression systems building maintenance of structure roof integrity access and egress doors lighting concrete maintenance and repair.
Performs building maintenance security weather required cleanup air and water quality and fire and communications.
Performs preventative maintenance on plumbing; ensuring proper operation of all sinks toilets and drains.
Performs and documents inspections of sprinkler systems emergency lights emergency exit doors fire extinguishers and sanitary cleaning of compressor rooms.
Assists in all weekly monthly yearly testing of pumps hydrants PIVs extinguishers.
Job function is extremely hands-on; this position will be first line for investigation and repairs of facility and will assist/oversee on-site contractors for projects.
Along with maintenance some cleaning may be required including quarterly plant cleaning daily cleaning for cGMP and policing the grounds.
Maintain active forklift scissor-lift and snorkel lift certifications.
Operations of baler and compactor required.
Active participant of the Emergency Action Team.
Will be on-call for facilities emergencies.
Perform other work related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.)
HS Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 years experience maintaining a large facility
Computer skills equivalent to interfacing with Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to read schematic diagrams blue prints and mechanical diagrams is required.
Must be knowledgeable of electrical repairs in an industrial environment.
Must have provable experience with power/hand tools.
Knowledgeable in facility fire suppression and alarm systems including automatic fire and tornado alarm systems NFPA regulations a plus.
Knowledgeable in HVAC systems (geothermal experience a plus)
Certification in industrial facilities maintenance or industrial electrical maintenance desirable. Ability to undertake training vocational schooling self study toward acquiring and/or increasing ones knowledge on industrial systems as required.
Must be familiar with OSHA/ADA standards as they apply to a manufacturing facility.
Must be a motivated self-starter but also able to work as a team player working with other departments within the facilities.
Must pay close attention to detail and follow instructions well.
Legible handwriting and the ability to communicate clearly both written and verbally.
Forklift Experience a plus.
