Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and follow-up on actions from various functions and departments in EHS improvement activities rectifications works and accident/incident investigations contractor Permit-To-Work systems
  • Perform EHS inspections of the company operations to ensure compliance and improvement of EHS improvements
  • Identify and implement periodic EHS performance monitoring and measurements of the companys EHS performance through proactive and reactive monitoring e.g. noise mapping trade effluent industrial hygiene and air emission monitoring.
  • Lead and implement EHS improvement activities arising from Corporate EHS and site leadership directions
  • Drive a strong EHS culture across the organization by developing and executing awareness campaigns training programs and engagement initiatives
  • Maintain EHS documentations required under the EHS management system e.g. Risk assessment accident/incident records chemical inventories licenses and permits SDS etc
  • Ensure that systems and procedures within the department are in compliance with Workplace Safety & Health Act ISO14001 EMS ISO45001 OH&SMS and ISO 22301 BCMS

Qualification:

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering preferably in an environmental health sciences industrial hygiene and chemical regulatory discipline.

Experiences:

  • Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer 2 to 5 years
  • Knowledge of chemical substance regulations and EHS laws - 2 years
  • Working experience in manufacturing (e.g. Cleanroom environment would be an advantage)
  • Certified Fire Safety Manager
  • Internal Auditing
  • Noise Control Officer / Noise Monitoring Officer
  • Business Continuity Planning

Working location: Gul Circle Singapore

Shuttle service is provided

Working hours: 8 am to 5.15pm
