Job Title: Surgical Technologist
Location:Sugar Land TX 77479
Type:11 months Contract
Shift: 06:45 AM End Time: 03:15 PM
Payrate : $40 - $45hrs/w2
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingSurgical Technologist for an exciting job inSugar Land TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure all instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready.
- Assist surgeons by anticipating needs and passing instruments during procedures.
- Serve as a scrub assistant across multiple specialties including general vascular orthopedic neurosurgical and robotic surgeries.
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control standards.
- Provide intraoperative support and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety.
- Mentor and support less experienced surgical staff.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program required.
- Current Surgical Technologist certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- 12 years of operating room experience across multiple specialties preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique surgical instrumentation and procedures.
- Excellent teamwork communication and problem-solving skills.
