Position Summary: The Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) paraeducator is responsible for ensuring students are supported throughout the day with academic behavioral and social-emotional needs. Reports to: Principal Assistant PrincipalDuties and Responsibilities:Work collaboratively with building administration school adjustment counselors and classroom teachers to support in-class support to students in general education and sub-separate support to students during transition to current students in sub-separate programming to integrate and eventually mainstream into classrooms Required to have prompt regular attendanceCollect behavior data as needed and regularly review with Administration SAC and Therapeutic Support Assist with the implementation of student Support Plans Attend professional development and training as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by administratorPreferred RequirementsSafety Care Certification or willing to complete Safety Care CertificationWork Hours: 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 : According to contract to include a $500 differentialAdditional compensation to be provided for completing and maintaining Safety Care : TBA
