Position Description:
We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic summer intern to join Alcons Global Security team. This individual will play a key role in advancing our Risk & Intelligence and Physical Security programs contributing to impactful initiatives that strengthen Alcons global security posture.
Please note:This isnotan IT/Cyber Security position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Global Security team members and senior staff to gather Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) from online sources in support of intelligence analysis efforts.
- Assist the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) in conducting threat-hunting activities to proactively identify risks to Alcon associates and operations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of incident and emergency management programs aimed at strengthening organizational preparedness.
- Support regional security directors in evaluating and managing global security guard services at manufacturing facilities.
- Help enhance the case and records management system to improve documentation practices and operational efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to internship or co-op and at least one additional semester following internship or co-op.
- Must be pursuing at least a bachelors level degree in Emergency Management Security Management Criminal Justice or related major.
- Academic performance: Minimum cumulative GPA 2.8/4.0
- Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e. extracurricular activities or projects)
- Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (students on an F1 visa with CPT can be accommodated)
- Ability to commit to a full time (40 hrs. per week) Intern position.
