Membership Receptionist
Be the face of great futures!
Our Membership Receptionists interact with the clients that BGCTM serves on a daily basis and provide excellent customer service to youth teens families and members of our community. Receptionists are also supported in their career development with ongoing training a career roadmap detailing promotional timelines and key performance indicators.
Our Mission: To enable all young people especially those who need us most to reach their full potential as caring productive responsible citizens.
Here are a few other ways youll contribute as a Membership Receptionist:
- Serve as the initial point of contact for members parents and visitors.
- Provide information on Club programs to members parents visitors and phone inquiries.
- Work closely with program and administrative staff as needed.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with youth and teens in our programs.
- Create and maintain a safe and positive environment for our communitys youth and teens.
- All BGCTM employees have the responsibility to help maintain the safety of our members and staff and ensure an optimal club experience for all.

- This role is part time with flexible scheduling to accommodate personal life or class schedules. We always aim for consistent schedules for our staff to promotebalance.

Qualifications
We have great staff that can teach you skills on the job but there are some traits that will make you more successful as a Membership Receptionist.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- You are a fun energetic and excited individual.
- You want to pursue a career in data entry billing and accounts receivable.
- You have a passion for building a better community.
- You have the ability to communicate and cooperate with children other staff and parents.
- Minimum of 17 years or older.
As part of our commitment to child and member safety there are some additional steps that all hires will be asked to complete.
- You will need to provide 3 references. These references should be professional references if you have work experience. If you dont have work experience these references can be any non-family member over the age of 18 who can speak to your character and professionalism.
- You will also be asked to complete a drug screen for any illegal substances background check and fingerprint check.
