If you are a Technical Program Manager Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are seeking an innovative and experienced Technical Program Manager to successfully drive transformational initiatives across both MFG & the company by creating roadmaps coordinating execution building strong relationships and mitigating risks and challenges that arise!
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Drives the execution of transformational initiatives across MFG and the enterprise working with key business customers and technical subject matter experts to coordinate delivery and realize value
- Collaborate across multiple cross-functional technical teams (R&D Test Engineering Manufacturing Engineering) to define project goals identify risks and make technical tradeoffs
- Work closely with project sponsor cross-functional teams and team members to plan and develop scope deliverables required resources work plan budget and timing for new initiatives
- Provide strong analytical thinking for existing business and technical problems working with customers to clearly identify requirements to enable capabilities.
- Effectively communicate program/project status tradeoffs risks and changes to customers including but not limited to senior executive management
- Develops program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement maintains organizational standards of satisfaction quality and performance
- Oversees multiple project teams ensuring program goals are reached manages budget and funding channels for maximum productivity
- Leads the creation of actionable deliverables to facilitate execution including project plans decision logs risk logs communications plans and performance measures
- Build strong partnerships with internal & external customers to drive adoption and deliver desired business outcomes
- Achieve project results employing project management process design and change management methodologies
- Develop and implement right-sized change management plans to prepare equip and support individuals through change
- Leverage continuous improvement and process analysis methodologies to analyze complex processes identify gaps and design new effective business processes.
For This Role You Will Need:
- Engineering Bachelors Degree preferably in Electrical or Computer engineering from an accredited college/university
- 7-10 years of experience in technical project and or program management
- Superior problem solving analytical and critical thinking skills
- Manufacturing Supply Chain & Logistics knowledge
- Experience managing a project on an enterprise scale
- Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience working with all levels across organization
- Self-motivated and proactive and able to deal with ambiguity
- Strong organizational planning and project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills able to clearly summarize critical information
- Experience with change management and process management preferred
