Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center is a 24-bed acute care critical access hospital serving the Florida Parishes region of Southeast Louisiana. We offer a wide range of services including general surgery and a 24-hour emergency department. At Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center we are able to bring you a wide range of services close to home provided by a network of board-certified physicians.
This Medical Specialist position is located within the Outpatient Clinic. The incumbent will be responsible for providing timely accurate and quality healthcare providing wide-ranging patient care through various channels including diagnostic testing treatment planning discharge planning case management referrals etc.Minimum Qualifications
- Two years of experience or training in patient care or medical records.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
- Greet and escort patients for routine examinations to the patient clinic rooms while demonstrating excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Acquires medical histories vital signs weight pulse blood pressure respiration temperature height current medication and allergies.
- Assist practitioners to deliver health care services treatments examinations and procedures for patients with specialized needs in the outpatient setting.
- Assist with emergency housekeeping and cleaning duties such as mopping up spills emptying trash and sterilization of equipment. Prepares and cleans room and equipment before and after examinations

Compensation:This position is eligible for premium pay of up to $0.95 per hour.
