Role Description
The Senior L&D Officer is a pivotal role responsible for the strategic management and operational oversight of the companys Learning Management System (LMS) and all talent development programs. This role combines deep expertise in instructional design and e-learning technology with a strong focus on aligning learning initiatives with business goals. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader skilled in both the technical administration of the LMS and the strategic design of comprehensive talent development programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning implementation and ongoing management of the LMS. Act as the primary technical expert overseeing system upgrades integrations and performance to ensure a seamless and robust learning platform.
- Design develop and implement engaging effective and innovative learning solutions across various formats including e-learning modules blended learning and instructor-led training.
- Oversee and enhance talent management programs including performance management succession planning leadership development and high-potential employee programs. Ensure these programs are integrated with the LMS to provide a cohesive employee experience.
- Partner with senior leadership department heads and subject matter experts (SMEs) to conduct needs analyses identify organizational skill gaps and define strategic learning priorities.
- Utilize LMS analytics and other data sources to measure the effectiveness of learning and talent programs. Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management demonstrating the return on investment (ROI) of L&D initiatives.
- Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies and best practices in learning and development including AI in L&D gamification and mobile learning to keep the companys approach at the forefront of the industry.
- Conduct learning needs assessments and performance analyses to identify knowledge and skills gaps and determine the most effective learning solutions.
- Analyze training effectiveness and identify areas of improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies for individual and team development.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Instructional Design Adult Learning Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience in Training & Development and Learning Management
- Strong skills in Training and Instructional Design
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects
- Experience with learning management systems LMS and e-learning tools
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Human Resources Education or a related field
- Experience in property development or the related industry is a plus
