Veterinary Nurse
Location: Dublin 11
A busy centre is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to oversee the day-to-day running of its veterinary suite. This sole-charge role involves managing the medical care and welfare of dogs at the centre in foster care and during post-adoption support.
Key Responsibilities

Provide and oversee medical care for all dogs in the centre
- Manage the veterinary suite appointments records stock and clinical administration

Support the veterinary surgeon in surgery and consultations
- Dispense medications maintain clinical notes and uphold hygiene standards

Deliver excellent customer care and support to adopters

Participate in welfare reviews training and CPD
The role is currently MondayFriday with occasional weekend or public holiday work as required.
About You
- Registered Veterinary Nurse with at least 2 years experience in a busy practice

Strong organisational communication and interpersonal skills
-
Confident working independently and using good judgement

Knowledge of canine welfare and behaviour
-
Good IT and administration skills
-
Flexible reliable and emotionally resilient
-
Full clean manual ROI driving licence
Experience in a welfare or shelter environment is an advantage.
