Were currently looking for a Purchasing Battery Raw Material Intern to join our team. The position will be located onsite at the Nissan Technical Center in Farmington Hills MI.

During this internship youll have the ability to work with a team that studies EV Battery Raw Material and Rare Earths supply chain sourcing in the North American Region. This person will work closely with the EV Battery Purchasing team.

A Day in the Life:

  • Study Rare Earth Supply Chains

  • Research Rare Earth Metals/Magnets and their role in Nissans Supply Chain

  • Research and contact potential Rare Earth Material Suppliers

  • Track and report on status of sourcing cost reductions process improvements and other defined goals

  • Assist with other various tasks as needed

Who Were Looking for:

Required:

Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Supply Chain Chemical Engineering Material Sciences or other related degrees.

List of required skills and qualifications (no more than 3-5)

GPA of 3.0 or above

Estimated travel up to 5%

Ability to perform work onsite in Farmington Hills MI
