Job Summary

The Manager of Stabilization & Recovery Clinical Services Opportunity:

The Manager of Stabilization & Recovery Clinical Services is a licensed mental health professional responsible for overseeing clinical programming and supervision for adult crisis stabilization and a 28-day residential substance use disorder treatment addition the manager will provide clinical support to the sober living residential program.

This role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements provides clinical leadership to multi-disciplinary teams and maintains high standards of patient-centered trauma-informed care. The Manager also collaborates with community partners and provides clinical consultation. Along with a team of licensed clinicians provides after-hour consultation in support of the Acute Care Services on call team.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The starting pay range for this role is $98862 - $107640 based on education and experience.

  • As a full-time employee of NCHC you would be eligible for the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS). The WRS is a hybrid defined benefit plan. It contains elements of both a 401(k) or defined contribution plan and a defined benefit plan. Participating staff contribute 6.95% and NCHC will match this at 100% each pay period!

What Qualifies You:

Required:

  • Current State of Wisconsin licensure as a Clinical Social Worker Professional Counselor Marriage & Family Therapist or Psychologist
  • Masters degree in Social Work Professional Counseling or a closely related field earned from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Ability to provide patient centered and trauma informed care
  • Excellent clinical decision-making skills

Preferred:

  • More than one year of relevant supervisory experience.
  • More than one year in crisis stabilization residential substance use or acute behavioral health settings.

What a Manager of Stabilization & Recovery Clinical services Does at NCHC:

  • Oversees the day- to- day clinical services of the adult stabilization and residential substance use disorder treatment program including supervision of certified substance use counselors.
  • Oversees the Sober Living Program.
  • Sets clinical performance expectations in detail provides feedback and maintains individual accountability of employees through performance evaluations outcome measuring and the development of performance improvement plans in conjunction with the operations manager.
  • Coaches and guides model treatment practice in the integration of new evidence into practice.
  • Routinely collaborates and coordinates with the operational manager to ensure seamless delivery of services utilizing shared staff and resources with clarity of roles and responsibilities.
  • Provides clinical support and supervision to a recovery case manager and peer specialist as part of a collaborative outreach plan to connect community members to substance use disorder services.
  • Oversees program treatment team clinical staff performance including documentation and client interactions to ensure quality of stabilization and substance use disorder clinical and transitions of care.
  • Arranges participates facilitates and ensures clinical supervision per program regulations and NCHC quality of care practices and the documentation clinical supervision provided.
  • Collaborates and consults with treatment providers and community referral sources focusing on multidisciplinary treatment approaches.
  • Acts as an integral member of the Acute Care Services management team collaborates with other clinical managers and other NCHC program leadership and services providers.
  • Provides immediate support in on-site crisis situations.
  • Coordinates with Acute Care Services leadership team on employee training and continuing education. and continuing education. Reviews department clinical policies and procedures and updates. Participates in ongoing quality assurance review activities.
  • Implements and enforces all regulatory standards requirements and guidelines including federal state and local regulations and licensing boards and accreditation authorities.
  • Participates in models and enforces agency-specified crisis de-escalation model policies/procedures.
  • Adheres to scheduled work hours with regular and predictable attendance.
  • Along with a team of licensed clinicians provides after-hour consultation in support of the Acute Care Services on call team.
  • Participates in on-call pool for Marathon County Jail Suicide watch and is available to make clinical judgements on whether an inmate should remain on suicide watch.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant federal state and regulatory/accreditation regulations
