Deliver high-quality reliable data assets that form the foundation for analytics and business decisions.
Transform complex noisy data into well-structured usable data products that unlock value.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders ensuring data solutions solve real business problems.
Adapt quickly to evolving business needs prioritising initiatives where data can make the greatest impact.
Balance speed and long-term sustainability by making pragmatic technical decisions.
Translate raw data into meaningful insights combining technical expertise with business context and consumer understanding.
Foster a culture of data quality technical excellence and continuous improvement.
What youll bring
5 years of experience in data engineering including data modelling building and maintaining data pipelines ETL processes and data integration solutions.
Expertise with AWS and Snowflake; strong knowledge of data warehousing and architecture.
Experience with dbt Apache Airflow (or similar) and advanced SQL skills.
Skilled in version control testing CI/CD Docker GitHub Actions and related development practices.
Strong problem-solving abilities experience in data cleaning optimisation and observability frameworks/tools (e.g. Great Expectations Elementary).
Proficiency in programming languages like Python Java or Scala. Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop Spark) cloud platforms and relational databases (SQL Server PostgreSQL).
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Data visualisation experience familiar with tools like Tableau or Streamlit.
Minimum Bachelor Degree qualified
Nice to have
Knowledge of linear algebra probability statistics calculus and optimisation.
Experience with machine learning pipelines and MLOps.
Exposure to real-time data processing and streaming technologies.
