The King County Metro Transit Capital Division is recruiting for a Coordinated Portfolio Manager (Project/Program Manager IV) to join its Coordinated Portfolio Management team. This team is responsible for managing the process to plan prioritize and develop Metros Capital Improvement Plan using a value framework that ensures the capital portfolio delivers maximum value in advancing the strategic goals of Metro and the County using available resources.
Additionally the team is responsible for defining and implementing portfolio management best practices within Metro Capital including the coordination of capital portfolio planning monitoring and decision-making activities applying effective governance monitoring performance metrics and value realization and implementing information management systems and reporting to enhance portfolio transparency and communications.
Reporting to the Capital Divisions Capital Portfolio Planning and Analysis Manager this position will work across Capital Planners Program and Portfolio Managers to play a key role in Metros strategic planning activities and advancement of business improvement efforts.

Work Schedule:
Our regular business hours are 40 hours per week Monday through Friday. However work outside of these hours may occasionally be required. This position is classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and therefore is not eligible for overtime pay. We may also consider flexible hours.

The main work site associated with this position is King Street Center 201 S. Jackson St Seattle WA 98104.
Telecommuting Requirement:
This is a hybrid role requiring a combination of remote and onsite work at various King County facilities where employees will have access to shared workspaces. A County-issued laptop will be provided and employees must maintain a dedicated workspace with reliable internet access to perform their duties efficiently and remain accessible during scheduled work hours. Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
