As a Field Service Engineer (Marine)atHoneywell you will be responsible for providing technical support installation commissioning and maintenance of equipment and systems while also managing service-related projects from initiation to completion. This role requires strong problem-solving skills customer focus and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Service & Support
- Perform installation commissioning troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment at customer sites.
- Provide timely and effective technical support to clients.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures during service activities.
Project Management
- Lead and manage service-related projects including upgrades retrofits and system integrations.
- Develop project plans schedules.
- Coordinate with internal teams vendors and customers to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports.
- Ensure project documentation is complete and accurate.
Customer Interaction
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Provide training and technical guidance to end-users.
- Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Experience in project management and execution.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed service records and project documentation.
- Prepare service reports project updates and feedback for continuous improvement.
Must Have:
- Degree in Electronic and Instrumentation Engineering.
- 5-6 years of experience in field service engineering with at least 2-3 years in project execution.
- Strong understanding of Marine / industrial equipment automation systems or similar technologies.
- Experience in managing small to medium-scale technical projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel and work at customer sites as required.
