Job Description

Candidates need to be able to commit to two full days to support the University on November 4th and 5th. There is a possibility candidates would then be retained for some course building. Candidates should please upload a copy of their graduate transcripts (unofficial transcripts are acceptable) when completing the documents section of the job application. Compensation is $2100. This is a contracted position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Expertise:
- Develop and revise online undergraduate-level business coursesensuring alignment with program objectives and industry standards.
- Conduct research and stay current on industry trends and best practices.
- Identify and integrate innovative teaching methodologies and learning technologies.
- Collaborate with faculty and instructional designers to create engaging and effective learning materials.
- Subject Matter Mastery:
- Possess a masters degree in criminal justice. A PhD is preferred
- Demonstrate significant industry experience in your area of expertise preferably experience within the last 5 years.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Clearly communicate complex business concepts to a diverse online audience.
- Collaborate effectively with facultyinstructional designersand other stakeholders.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve learning materials and student outcomes.
- Adhere to SME contract laid out by the System Division Chair and signed by SME and System Division Chair
- Technology and Digital Literacy:
- Proficient in online learning platforms and various digital tools used in curriculum development.
- Ability to leverage technology to enhance the learning experience and create engaging learning environments.
- Adaptability and Continuous Improvement:
- Remain adaptable to evolving industry trends and educational technologies.
- Continuously evaluate and improve curriculum materials based on student feedback and data analysis.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in criminal justice doctorate is preferred.
- Recent (within the last 5 years) industry experience in criminal justice related area.
- Psychology experience preferred.
- Experience developing online or blended learning materials (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Commitment to student success and academic excellence.
- Proficiency in online learning platforms and digital tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
