Position Summary:
Responsible for assisting management with execution of daytime and evening events as related to Visitor Experience as well as daily operational needs. Works with the Visitor Experience management team to ensure event set-up to breakdown is managed to exact standards. Will assist management with training and and mentoring the departments Attendants Tram drivers and Team leaders.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing and training Visitor Experience staff for daytime and evening events
- Assist with execution of event logistics as outlined in operations reports
- Coordinate ticket reservations (both in-house and third party)
- Distribute event handouts and assist in creating one-shets for event staff
- Execute event logistics as outlined in operations reports
- Greet visitors and manage crowd flow throughout the Garden
- Respond to radio calls change requests and serve as POS back-up as needed
- Assist management with all aspects of customer service as it relates to the visitor experience
- Perform other duties as specified and needed by department management
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year in a leadership role with relevant customer service and cash handing
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills; articulate and energetic; ability to work with the public other employees and vendors
- Self-motivated team player able to take initiative and multi-task
- Ability to work under pressure; maintain a level head and execise good judgement
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this position the employee is required to at minimum
- Work outdoors under a variety of weather conditions
- Sit and or/stand for long periods
- Move up to 25lbs
Baseline Work Schedule:
Friday- Sunday 2p-10p
Pay Rate: $24 per hour
