Provide administrativesupport to the FOB Bureau Chief and command staff.
Compose correspondencefrom rough draft corrected copy or oral instructions relating to operationaland administrative matters.
Maintainconfidentiality of all records and correspondence.
Edit review andrevise correspondence submitted for the Bureau Chief Superintendent Governoror command staff signatures.
Oversee pending filesfor correspondence and project deadlines. Ensure appropriate bureau personnelare contacted and ascertain expected date of item to be received.
Coordinate implementand track correspondence assigned by the Superintendents office.
Maintain and purgeadministrative and personnel auxiliary files according to Departmentalguidelines.
Open and sort incomingmail correspondence and distribute to appropriate personnel. Open reviewforward or respond to incoming emails to FOB.
Respond to incominginquiries from visitors and callers and provide information with regard tolaws rules regulations and procedures governing the Departments operation.
Maintain FOB personnelcharts and rosters and update when changes are implemented.
Maintain andrequisition office supplies and equipment.
Other duties asassigned by the Bureau Chief and command staff.
Education: Graduation from anaccredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: Six yearsperforming administrative or secretarial work involving typing duties.
Note: Thirty credit hours fromand accredited college or university may be substituted at the rate of thirtycredits for one year of experience for up to four years of the requiredexperience.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in Windows basedoperating systems; preferably Windows 10.
2. Experience with Microsoftproducts (Word Excel PowerPoint).
3. Experience with Googleproducts (Docs Sheets Slides).
4. Experience taking meetingminutes.
5. Experience completing andsending correspondence for and Executive/Commander.

The selection process for this recruitmentwill involve a rating of the training and experience provided on theapplication. Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be placed onan eligible list in the BEST QUALIFIED BETTER QUALIFIED and QUALIFIEDcategories. The list will be used by the hiring manager to select theindividual to fill this vacancy. The list will be valid for one year.
The examination will consist ofa rating of your education training and experience related to the requirementsof the position. You may be required to complete a qualifications supplementor the rating may be based on your application. Report all experience andeducation that is related to this position. Applicants may be given a physicalexamination and will be subject to an interview background investigationpolygraph examination and substance abuse testing.
