Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Supply Chain Management Analyst to join our Materials Management Organization (MMO) in Huntsville Alabama.

Were looking for skilled professionals who are passionate about precision and innovation to help produce Boeings Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) seekeran integral part of the worlds most advanced air defense system. Recently the PAC-3 was honored as the 2025 Coolest Thing Made in Alabama: in the statewide Manufacturing Madness competition.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Guides integrated product design/build teams by independently representing Supply Chain Management (SCM) plans and strategies to arrive at optimal solutions

  • Leads cross-functional teams in the introduction of new tools and techniques

  • Presents analysis of performance measurements to senior managers

  • Investigates complex ordering conditions

  • Develops and implements new ordering methodologies

  • Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies contractual requirements and governmental regulations

  • Creates complex schedules

  • Develops materials management estimates and schedules for new business proposals

  • Identifies analyzes develops and implements best practices processes and procedures for SCM

  • Recommends changes to new or existing corporate and divisional policies

  • Leads teams and is responsible for overseeing documenting implementing and maintaining the improvements they contribute

  • Works under minimal direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5 years experience in supply chain and/or materials management

  • 5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • 5 years experience with Material Requirements Planning or a similar MRP system

  • Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word Excel and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher

  • 3 years experience using SQL

Work Location:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
