PRODUCTION ENGINEER I


OVERVIEW

Provide Project Management support for Manufacturing and Operations including document preparation reporting and driving the organization to meet customer expectations and ensuring D365 system integrity.


MUST BE LOCATED IN THE DFW AREA. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION


REQUIREMENTS

  • 4 Year Engineering degree required (Industrial Engineering preferred)
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
  • 1 plus years experience Operations Management Production Planning and ERP software preferred
  • Must have advanced skills using MS Excel Word Visio & PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX 365 or equivalent ERP solution preferred
  • Capable of handling multiple assignments to completion with minimum supervision

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for end-to-end communication of the supply chain including interpretation of demand requirements planning the supply chain and communicating completion schedules.
  • Coordinates all material and ERP system issues to insure successful completion of customer requirements per requested delivery dates; Maintains accurate schedules kanban quantities and material availability per ERP system.
  • Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercial products: Develops master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
  • Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes tools and human resources requirements.
  • Ability to hold meetings to discuss issues that may impact Manufacturing. Follow up with Meeting Minutes and actions.
  • Confers with other departments to determine status of assigned projects.
  • Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
  • Develops programs and goals for improving on-time delivery.
  • Develops written procedures.
  • Able to develop and execute Project Schedules.
  • Performs other duties per judgement or as necessity dictates.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This position does not currently require travel. However occasional travel may be required in the future based on business needs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job employees may be required to walk for prolonged periods of time frequently bending climbing rotating squatting reaching kneeling or stooping lifting up to 25 pounds and periods of computer use.

Employee may be frequently exposed to heat/cold heights gases vibration dust chemicals odors dampness fumes and noises.
