Facilities Manager (maternity cover) - Position Summary
The Facilities Manager will lead a team to ensure management of the day-to-day client activities for assigned property/facility and support the Senior Facilities Manager by being the on-site key point of contact for key stakeholders and/or client. The role will have responsibility for service quality helpdesk task resolution maintenance and operations contract services safe working practices purchasing of material equipment & supplies and site budgets accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead team for daily client facility management operations
- Serve as key on-site contact for stakeholders/clients
- Manage service quality maintenance operations and budgets
- Oversee contracts and vendors per best practices
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
- Implement business continuity and risk management plans
Required Experience:
- Experience in facilities management or related fields
- Knowledge of occupational safety and critical systems (HVAC electrical/mechanical systems BMS)
- Commercial contract management and financial analysis skills
- Proficiency in computer systems and specialized vendor management
