The Opportunity
As an Audit Senior youll take on a pivotal role that combines technical expertise with client-facing responsibilities. Key Responsibilities
Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance
Manage a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors building strong professional relationships
Oversee the preparation and submission of statutory accounts corporation tax computations and VAT returns
Mentor junior team members sharing knowledge and supporting their professional development
Collaborate with senior management on business development initiatives and client presentations
Drive process improvements and contribute to the implementation of best practice methodologies
Conduct client meetings and manage expectations throughout the audit process
Support the training and development of junior staff members
Maintain comprehensive audit files and ensure all work meets regulatory standards
What Were Looking For
ACCA/ACA qualified or part-qualified with strong progression towards full qualification
Substantial experience within an established accountancy practice environment
Comprehensive knowledge of audit procedures and statutory compliance requirements
Proficiency with leading accounting software platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
Proven track record in client relationship management and business development
Strong leadership capabilities with experience mentoring junior team members
Excellent communication skills and professional presentation
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
Self-motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative team environment
