Job Summary
Registered Nurse- Operating Room (Day Shift)
Location: Concord New Hampshire 03301
Duration: 13-weeks contract
Shift: 10-hr Days 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $2600 $2800; (Negotiable based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures.
- Assist in the care and safety of patients before during and after surgery.
- Monitor patients vital signs reactions to anesthesia and overall condition throughout the procedure.
- Ensure accurate surgical counts of sponges instruments and supplies.
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team anesthesia staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to hospital policies infection control standards and best practices in patient care.
Requirements:
- Minimum Experience: 2 years recent acute care Operating Room experience (Required)
- Licensure: Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact State RN license (Required)
- Certifications (Required):
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NH State License
- Preferred Certifications:
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- EMR: Cerner experience preferred but not required
- Travel Experience: Must have prior travel assignment experience (No first-time travelers)
