Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to lead our therapy department in a skilled nursing facility located in Montesano WA. This is a permanent full-time position with guaranteed hours and no weekend rotation offering a competitive salary and a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the rehab department including physical therapy occupational therapy and speech-language pathology services.
- Manage and support a multidisciplinary team of therapists and assistants.
- Ensure quality patient care and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with facility leadership to develop and implement programs that improve patient outcomes.
- Conduct staff training and performance evaluations.
- Monitor departmental budgets and resource utilization.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Must hold a current license in one of the following disciplines: PT OT or SLP in the state of Washington.
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a SNF or rehab setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of CMS and state regulations for therapy services.
