Schedule - Day shift with 1-2 call shifts per week and 1 weekend per month. Cardiac Cath Lab Electrophysiology TAVR and Left Atrial Appendage Closure Job Duties: Verify package integrity and expiration dates on all sterile supplies. Prepares patient and equipment for utilization of sterile technique. After procedure prepares equipment/supplies for sterilization. Monitors and records all procedural data and maintains procedural event logs. Provides patient comfort while familiarizing him/her with the equipment and supplies needed for the procedure. Applies the necessary monitors and prepares access site(s) including the necessary sterile drapes. When scrubbing into a procedure uses sterile and aseptic technique as required for infection prevention. Advocates for radiation safety and protection for self and coworkers. Wears personal radiation dosimeter and takes necessary precautions to limit/minimize patient and staff exposure. Documents fluoroscopy time and radiation doses and evaluates reports to determine if values are within established safety limits. Education Graduate of accredited radiology program Certification / Licensure ARRT(R) required BLS required
