About the Role

We are seeking a high-impactKey Account Managerto drive capital equipment sales across cardiac and vascular imaging environments. This is a strategic field-based role responsible for territory growth competitive takeovers and leading complex sales cycles within interventional cardiology interventional radiology and vascular surgery.

This position is ideal for a true hunter someone who can create momentum build strong clinical and operational relationships and partner with cross-functional teams to close large enterprise-level opportunities.


What Youll Be Selling

This role is99% focused on a flagship capital imaging platformwidely used across cardiac and vascular labs. You will also support a portfolio of adjacent interventional and surgical imaging solutions.

Capital systems typically range$1$2M per lab with fast-moving36 monthsales cycles and strong internal technical clinical and operational support.


Territory Opportunity

This region has substantial upside currently at roughly35% to plan with several high-value accounts in active evaluation stages. Strategic opportunities include major academic centers regional health systems and competitive conversion targets.

This territory offers clear growth runway strong visibility and significant earning potential for a motivated capital rep.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic territory and account penetration plans

  • Identify and drive competitive displacement opportunities

  • Lead multi-stakeholder hospital sales cycles and navigate capital approval processes

  • Present clinical technical operational and economic value propositions

  • Map the install base assess account segmentation and prioritize target opportunities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teammates across devices imaging diagnostics monitoring and services

  • Maintain strong understanding of competitive positioning and market dynamics


Youre a Great Fit If You Have:

  • 5 years of medical capital sales experience (required)

  • Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular lab workflows

  • Proven track record in complex team-based selling environments

  • Existing relationships or access within IC/IR/vascular surgery settings

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

  • Ability to reside within commuting distance ofCharleston WV

  • Ability to travel overnight up to 25%


Compensation

On-target earnings typically fall between$200K$230K with high performers reaching$300K$400K.

Base variable structure:

  • Level 1: $107000 base $95000 variable

  • Level 2: $117000 base $95000 variable

  • Level 3: $127000 base $95000 variable


Interview Process

Training includes home study hands-on systems training and field immersion with experienced team members.
