Job description:
- Have the ability to assist requesters in refining business requirement details to ensure the customers will be receiving functionality requested.
- Gain knowledge of our ServiceNow implementation to understand and identify cross platform impacts of changes or enhancements being requested.
- Design develop and implement solutions including custom applications workflows catalog items and integrations to meet complex business requirements
- Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform using javascript and ServiceNow APIs to extend capabilities and enhance user experience
- Design and implement workflows to support business needs and increase automation
- Develop and configure integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using integration spokes or custom APIs
- Build and maintain custom applications following best practice to ensure performance and maintainability
- Work within the Agile methodology to develop build and test alongside other developers to ensure the best product is delivered to requestors in a timely manner
- Work with implementation partners or internal project teams to Implement new modules as business needs evolve
- Conduct regular ServiceNow version upgrades to ensure we remain compliant and supported by the vendor
Key Skills Requirements and Competencies: - Must be eligible and willing to submit for U.S. Government security clearances; active clearance is a plus.
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a relevant technical field
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
- At least 5 years experience working with the ServiceNow platform preferably across SPM ITSM ITOM HAM SAM and HR modules
- Strong understanding of ITIL principles and practices
- Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow API web services
- Proven experience with integrating ServiceNow with other applications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
