This Registered Nurse position at a childrens hospital requires pediatric experience and involves floating between units. The role focuses on providing skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment. Weekend work is required.

Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care to pediatric patients.
- Patient assessments.
- Medication administration.
- Treatment planning.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Floating between units as needed.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of two years of pediatric nursing experience.
- Clinical assessment medication administration and treatment planning skills.
- Interdisciplinary team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.

Special Considerations:
- Pediatric experience is required.
- Weekend work (occasional Saturdays and Sundays) is required.
- No on-call requirements.
- Block scheduling is utilized.
- Patient ratios are 1:4.
- This is a position within a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.

Scheduling:
- Block scheduling is used.
- Occasional weekend work (Saturdays and Sundays) is required.
- 48-hour workweeks are not approved.
