Job Summary

We are hiring a Laboratory Technician for one of our clients in Terrell TX.

Job Description:

Scope of Work

Contractor shall provide the following services to consumers of the facility:
The Laboratory Technician performs various laboratory procedures under the supervision of an ASCP-registered Medical Technologist.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
One year of full-time phlebotomy work preferred (not required)
Valid Texas drivers license
Compliance with HHSC immunization requirements
Willingness to submit to HHSC-required drug test and fingerprinting
Completion of facility and HHSC-required training

Responsibilities

Perform phlebotomy on patients of all ages
Conduct computer data entry
Process and package specimens for transport to reference lab
Follow facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet accrediting standards including:
Joint Commission guidelines
CMS Standards
TSH Policy and Directives
HHSC Standards Rules and Directives

Schedule

Typical shift: 6:30 AM 3:30 PM (Monday Friday)
No holidays after-hours or weekend shifts
Schedule subject to change by Lab Supervisor based on hospital needs

Additional information:

Start Date: Tentative October 15 2025
Resumes Accepted: Beginning Tuesday September 16 2025 until position is filled
