Job Description
Two critical deliveries. Bloomberg Treasury integration and regulatory data consolidation.
We need one owner who can design the solution and build key pieces.
The role unblocks decisions aligns teams and drives releases.
What success looks like in 60 to 90 days
Target architecture approved. Microservices pattern defined and in use.
Data ingestion and ETL paths for Bloomberg and legacy sources running.
CI and CD pipelines stable. Automated tests and deploys in place.
First production release delivered for Treasury or consolidation scope.
Clear runbooks and backlog to carry the work forward.
Day 1 to 7 priorities
Confirm requirements and non functional needs with stakeholders.
Produce a simple architecture diagram and a short delivery plan.
Stand up the core repo and pipeline. Pick the reference service.
Define acceptance criteria for the first milestone.
Screening focus
Java Spring Boot microservices in production.
AWS experience. Lambda or ECS or EKS. S3. RDS or PostgreSQL.
Terraform for infrastructure. CI and CD ownership.
Banking or regulated data experience. OSFI awareness is a plus.
Leads engineers by example. Hands on coding and reviews.
Constraints and logistics
Canadian residency required.
Budget open based on expertise.
Proof of Terraform experience required.
