Job Summary

Lead technically be accountable and be responsible for the technical direction and decisions on client projects

Manage a team of developers to maintain a high standard of quality in the teams technical output Look after the career development of the more junior developers on your team

Technical point of contact between the client scrum master business analysts Quality assurance engineers and the other developers

Actively participate in Scrum Ceremonies

Run technical sprint planning (SP2)Responsible for diligent pull-request reviews as laid out in the organizations technical standards document and ensure that other developers in your team do the same

Building new features and maintaining code to the quality and standard as set by the team and the organization

Independently design and/or collaborate on the design of whole systems or parts of existing systems

Maintain the organizations technical standards across multiple teams Participate in architectural audits and reviews of other solutions from time to time

Fixing bugs supporting production systems actively sharing knowledge

Actively seek to mentor and teach others

Work together with Project Manager determines best mix of development interfacing applications third party vendor solutions to meet business requirements and project objectives.

Provides input and co-ordinates with DBA in creating new and modifying existing database structures using different types of databases and recommending appropriate DB based on required functionality.

Effectively communicates and builds rapport with team members stakeholders and interface groups using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close.

Essential skills:

- .net core (with API development experience)

- SQL

- Azure services (Azure Functions COSMOS DB Key Vault)

- Overall 8 to 10 years of development experience with at least 2 years of hands on experience in Azure skills mentioned above

- Good Communication skills

Good to know skills:

- Azure services (Application insights Redis EventHub and Service Bus)

- Banking project experience

- Functional knowledge in Payments

Required Skills:

Experience (Years): 4-6 Essential Skills: Work with project teams throughout the organization to design implement and manage CDN infrastructure using Akamai to ensure high availability performance and scalability for customer facing applications and business processes. Handle multiple priorities and assignments with excellence and precision. Be a part of a 24/7/365 organization (some after hours support is expected as part of normal on-call rotation). Directly support line of business development teams provide guidance to them on implementation and changes for customer facing applications Develop and maintain security protocols and measures to protect CDN infrastructure from cyber threats. Monitor and analyze network performance identifying and resolving issues to optimize content delivery of critical applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Akamai CDN solutions with existing systems and applications. Collaborate with information security teams to implement DDoS protection strategies and other security measures in the CDN. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams regarding CDN and security best practices. Work closely with vendor and professional service teams on delivery related activities and strategy. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. OR similar work experience. Strong understanding of network protocols (HTTP/HTTPS DNS TCP/IP). Proven experience as a CDN Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on -depth knowledge of Content Delivery Network technologies including caching load balancing and content optimization. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Experience supporting 24/7/365 customer facing applications at enterprise scale. Awareness and experience with cybersecurity tools and practices such as firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems and encryption. Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g. Python Bash) a plus. Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CEH) are a plus but not required.
