Location: Newark NJ
SUMMARY:
- 10 years of experience in IT support focused on Project Management in infrastructure esp. End User Connectivity-New HQ facility and Data Center Application Discovery Inventory plan and migrate to new DC
- Has worked in cloud infrastructure as well.
- Can commute to Newark NJ on Hybrid basis as per client needs.
- Has performed 3 data center moves and migrated applications to new DC.
- Led 3 corporate headquarters moves and was responsible for the connectivity for End Users.
Job Description Infra PM:
- The infrastructure of information technology comprises of hardware systems software network connections and servers.
- The PM will Inventory and manage Infrastructure projects portfolio.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time within scope and within budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Act as change agent to improve overall processes and programs.
- Provide guidance to project team throughout project lifecycle to meet applicable business requirements.
- Support the development and deployment of project management standards guidelines and processes.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Track project performance specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
- Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
- Develop spreadsheets diagrams and process maps to document needs.
