Schedule: 40 hr work week. 8:00am - 5:00pm

Job Description:

Manages Sustaining R&D Projects with internal and external resources

Your Responsibilities and Duties

Lead and manage projects from initial assessment through implementation (commercialization)

Coordinate cross-functional teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless execution of projects.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans timelines and stakeholder communication strategies.

Formulate project proposals

Support strategic evaluations of potential projects and preparation of business cases.

Oversee implementation processes identify risks and opportunities and provide actionable insights to leadership.

Ensure compliance with internal procedures

Required Knowledge Skills Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in engineering (such as mechanical biomedical software or electrical) or other STEM degree (such as Biology Chemistry etc.)

Sustaining R&D R&D and/or Manufacturing engineering experience with the medical devices.

Excellent project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.

Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills ability to lead and work well with teams.

Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with project management tools (MS Project Jira).

Documentation skills DHF experience.

Professional certifications such as PMP or equivalent are a plus.

High level of integrity discretion and resilience under pressure.

Strong business acumen and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Position Description:

* Manages projects with responsibility for successful execution: * Executes the project within the defined requirements (e.g. budget time functionality).* Ensures business success and satisfaction of the customer and ensures professional stakeholder management.* Ensures timely decisions on open issues escalating if the context of Engineering:* Manages a network of technical specialists in order to realize customer specific components systems or solutions.* Coordinates the Engineering disciplines and the cooperation with involved regional Engineering units including their interfaces.* Performs technical risk management.* Acts as interface to PM e.g. responsible for technical risks and opportunities. Impacts: Financial performance and business risk expected: medium. Contractual Complexity of project: low. Technical Complexity: medium. Organization complexity: low. Typical Budget (accountably managed): 2.5 M EUR to 7 M EUR p.a. Typical Budget (influenced as key contributor): higher volume.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Manager Local / Regional Business Projects (small): Facilitates the execution of project/program solution plan for complex projects or programs. Responsible for delivery of complex project/program plans. Supports the project/program management role (definition of schedule budget risk change opportunity and resource allocation management) for complex projects or programs. Acts as a functional or business process resource on projects or programs. Facilitates execution of continuous improvement plan. May perform active role in maintaining client relationships and sales opportunities. Higher level: Frequent inter-organizational and external contacts (with clients and service providers). Lower level: Primarily intra-organizational contacts; external contacts occur in the frame of client projects.

Experience: 4-8 years.

Knowledge: Certified as Project Manager (according to PM): Manages (at least) medium projects and is expected to further run plans of same/higher complexity (or equal knowledge)
