Job Description

Required Experience: 10 years DB2 experience

Design and maintain DB2 Database applications which have the following characteristics:

Design for maximum performance.

Provide production and test database support ina complex environment.

  • SQL code reviews.

    Enforce appropriate DB2 security standards.

    Create manage and support DB2 StoredProcedures DB2 Triggers and DB2 Referential Integrity.

    Provide DB2 Connect configuration access supportfor individual users and distributed systems.

    Work with Management to develop projectschedules.

    Responsible for the evaluation and creation ofappropriate backup and recovery strategies for new database requirements.

    Qualifications

    z/OS DB2 12 for zOS or higher in a production environment with high transaction rates

  • Managing large data stores
  • DB2 performance and tuning
  • Complex SQL coding / tuning
  • DB2 attachments/interfaces include DRDA DB2Connect

    IBM Data Studio

    IBM DB2 Automation Tool

    IBM DB2 Query Monitor

    IBM File Manager

    QMF

    TSO and ISPF

  • DFSORT and /or ICETOOL
  • z/OS Utilities

Problem solving and analytical skills

Question7 As mentioned this requisition will feature first round interviews via Teams (followed by in-person onsite). In order to deter a fake candidate scam at the virtual interview the candidate must present a valid photo ID to the camera at the beginning of the interview.
