We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Pharmacy Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Pharmacy Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our pharmacy including assisting in dispensing medication managing inventory and providing excellent customer service to our patients. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in dispensing prescription medication accurately and efficiently - Manage inventory and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained - Process and handle payments for medications - Provide exceptional customer service to patients addressing any questions or concerns they may have - Maintain a clean and organized work environment - Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care - Follow all safety and security procedures including proper handling and storage of medications - Keep up-to-date with new medications and changes in the pharmaceutical industry - Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred - Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and medication dispensing procedures - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask - Ability to work well in a team environment - Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends - Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds If you are a dedicated and driven individual with a passion for healthcare and helping others we would love to hear from you.
