We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) . As a CRNA you will play a crucial role in administering anesthesia to patients undergoing medical procedures ensuring their comfort and safety throughout. Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia before during and after medical procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized anesthesia plans.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the anesthesia process.
- Manage anesthesia equipment and supplies efficiently.
- Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor recovery progress.
- Document patient information and anesthesia administration accurately.
- Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthetist program.
- Current CRNA certification and state licensure.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Attention to detail and strong critical thinking abilities.
- Capability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Schedule: 10 or 12-hour shifts
Beeper Call: Weeknights (7:30p-7:30a) and weekends (24-hour)
Bread & Butter Cases: Total joint GI general surgery OB neuro cranial urology cancer services ENT endo cardiac; no open hearts
Will do own blocks and manage epidurals
Facility: 13 ORs cath lab endo lab Level II NICU
Care team model
Supervision Model: 1:3 or 1:4
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
