Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in this role you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services in the field of cardiology. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the well-being of patients and contributing to the success of our healthcare projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse cardiology cases and make a significant impact on patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients to assess their cardiac health.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients with various cardiac conditions.
- Perform diagnostic tests such as ECGs echocardiograms and stress tests.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Provide education to patients and their families on cardiac health and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment strategies.
- Stay current with advancements in cardiology treatments and technologies.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in Cardiology.
- Board certification in Cardiology.
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Cardiologist.
- Proven experience working in a clinical setting preferably in cardiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Schedule: 24-hour call specific dates
Patient Volume: 25 per shift
Support Staff: APPs nurses
EMR: eCW
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
